Lombok has just as much to see and do as its popular neighboring island of Bali.  We take on the best of the place on an island in a few days. Epic mountain vistas and then some rest and recovery on the scenic beaches of the Gili Islands. Hiking, water sports, and some relaxing with a cocktail while watching some of the best sunsets in Indonesia.  Pack in all into this few day adventures.

Day 1

As we say goodbye to the GLTers that aren’t joining us, we head to the airport, for a 30-minute flight to Lombok. We’ll be picked up at the airport and transported north for our private speed boat in Gilli Trawangan. Check-in for sunset and the relaxation begins.

Day 2

It’s just like riding a bike. We’ve rented some bicycles for the team, and we’ll be doing 2 circuits of the island. The first in the afternoon to explore the whole of Gili T, with lots of stops for pics and swimming, and the second, around 6 pm for the most epic dinner spot for sunset.

Day 3

Now you see why the Gilis islands have such a buzz. Thailand/Bali but 25 years ago. Beach huts, ice-cold beers, electric blue water, and white sand for days. Enjoy the day off, snorkel, chill, and rest those aching bones. We have a set of endless optional activities awaiting the more adventurous amongst you from scuba diving to fly-boarding, paddleboarding to pedicures.

Day 4

No alarms necessary. We have a private snorkel and sunset trip booked for us all after lunch, but nothing too early. Sleep-in, walk the beach, grab some fresh food and we’ll see you at 2 pm. Don’t forget your speakers for the boat trip, and the ice-box is waiting for whatever goodies you’d like to bring! Tonight is our last night, let’s make it one to remember.

Day 5

Transfer time. Private boat to the mainland in the morning, then transfer to Lombok island. From there you’re free to explore more of Indonesia or to transfer back to Bali for that oh so depressing flight home the real world. We’ll see you again soon!
