Magic In Madagascar (Trip In Planning)

Magic In Madagascar (Trip In Planning)

We’re straight heading to the magic of Madagascar on this one. Think lemurs leaping through technicolor rainforests, sapphire shores that have tales of pirates journeys from long ago, and chameleons that switch outfits faster than an influencer. Madagascar is a living, breathing wonderland. This trip is about raw adventure, unexpected encounters, and stories you’ll tell around campfires for years to come. Oh ya, and we haven’t mentioned the baobab trees,  dancing lemurs, and cave tombs yet. So many highlights so buckle up for this one!

Magic In Madagascar (Trip In Planning) Of course, it wouldn't be a Mudita Adventures trip without doing some good while we are here. We're currently in talks with our partners to figure out what is needed most in the community and how we can make that happen. It will be something similar to the projects we did in these countries.
1

Day 1

Arrive in Antananarivo anytime. We’ll meet for a briefing at 6pm to explain the trip, the volunteering and the adventure ahead before a group dinner and drinks to get to know your fellow travellers.

2

Day 2

After brekky, we’ll head on our private bus to our partner community. We’ll use the time to get to know each other a little better, and prepare ourselves for the hot & sweaty work ahead! Once we arrive, we’ll check-in, where our project leader will brief you guys about just why we’re working with them, the good that your money has done, and the work that you’ve signed up for.
3

Day 3

Rise and shine. We’ll have a tour of the project and the community, and if time permits, get started on the hard graft. Painting, labouring, landscaping – whatever our local team hasn’t managed to do, we need to step up and get it done! It’s time to get serious. As many of our returners can testify, the projects can be hard work, so we hope you’re ready. Depending on how far the construction has progressed with the local staff we have been hiring over the last few weeks, jobs can include lugging bricks, shifting sand, painting the buildings and of course playing with the kids.
4

Day 4

We'll take our flight towards Morondava coastal city and drive to the Kirindy forest (through the Baobab Avenue) You will have both day and night visits to the Kirindy forest where you will find lemurs, birds, amphibians, and with some luck, the famous Fosa, the only wild carnivore mammal of Madagascar.

5

Day 5

Drive to Bekopaka village, near Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park, lies a unique rocky formation. We'll hike between karstic rocks over gorges. This day will be a bit adventurous as driving on dusty roads and will sailing on rivers.

6

Day 6

We'll keep adventuring through the heart of Madagascar and today visit Little Tsingy with a cultural boat excursion on the Mahajilo river to visit some caves and tombs.

7

Day 7

Leave your fears on solid ground as you walk out on the cable bridge at Big Tsingy. We'll climb to the viewpoint and get some epic photos at the famous Tsingy bridge.

8

Day 8

In the morning we'll start to make our way back to Morondava. We'll check-in to our hotel and then head out to catch a stunning sunset at the Baobab Avenue

9

Day 9

The final day. Whomp whomp. We'll take a flight back to Antananarivo where you can catch your onward international flight.
